The Steelworkers Humanity Fund is a registered Canadian Charity funded by USW member contributions. For more than 35 years, The Humanity Fund has supported international development projects, provided emergency humanitarian aid for disasters around the world, supported food banks across Canada and offered an education program for Steelworker members. We accept donations online through the Canada Helps Foundation, or by cheques made out to: Steelworkers Humanity Fund. Suite 800, 234 Eglinton Ave. East, Toronto, ON, M4P 1K7.

International Miners Network ready to strengthen worker power across the globe

This international network is an important piece of the USW’s continued efforts to advance global union activism. Mining is an important industry for the Steelworkers, but we recognize that it is not an equal playing field for mine workers across the world. Through the Steelworkers Humanity Fund, we can help even that field by actively engaging in international solidarity initiatives to uplift and support fellow trade unionists across the globe to defend their rights.
